If you want to modify your JC61 Grom , you need this imap controller & this plug and play harness. All instructions are in Japonese , but the imap controler "pigyback" the ECU , injector and TPS switch. You have 14 pre-sets and can save well over 60% cost saving on any other product avalible in Europe . Your original harness plugs into the KITACO & the Kitaco plugs into ECU , injector , Throtle position sensor, job done . They would easly have 5 stars with better instructions.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the harness kit, the electrical connectors plug into the Honda sensors with ease and the wiring with it's electical sheath looks factory when laid into position.About the feeling of use: Works perfectly and makes completing the I-Map fuel controller installation a piece of cake.Products to buy together: The Kitaco I-Map injection controller ver.2 needs to be purchased along side the I-Map harness kit.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, you need to be able to get to the sensors to plug in the electrical connectors for the harness so you will need to remove some of the panels to do so. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you will save yourself much time using this harness kit with the I-Map fuel controller as compared to trying to get the I-Map fuel controller connected to the Grom without it.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. There are two types of settings for i-MAP. For the OEM ECU wiring type, six OEM wirings need to be cut and the i-MAP wiring needs to be interrupted. It is. When you purchase this i-MAPHarness kit and i-MAP separately, there is a feeling of premium price, but it is a convenient kit that can be connected with coupler without cutting six wirings of OEM ECU. This is a very handy part made available to you from Kitaco. For the product you get and the fact that it saves you from cutting into your OEM wiring harness the asking price is very nice. I have not seen this same product available from any other brand so it is good to see Kitaco filling the gap here. Comes with quality electrical connectors and also comes with a covering on the wiring to protect it from chaffing while under the chrome rear fender. Having this conversion harness with your tail tidy allow for a quick return back to your OEM tail if required.View Detail

Imap installation with the additional wire harness is plug and play, very easy. Just install the imap is also not too difficult as instructions with clear drawing provided and a bag of wires, connectors and pins to make sure all wires can be connected properly! Power delivery is smoother and able to hold RPM uphill, overall a very good product, once upgrade to big bore kit with cams, throttle body and head it should be able to tune the fuel delivery to meet the requirements.View Detail
