my 2nd review, still haven't installed the kitaco gasket in my nmax 155 yet (standard head)... however i managed to draft a chart of certain gaskets i have used in my yamaha nmax 155 standard block and head... maybe it could be useful for the users and also the manufacturer to check back the configuration...for the gaskets i have bought i guessed i could use them in my another nmax (yes, i have 2) which is a full racing specs with a 23/22 18/19 superhead. i hope this might help others in choosing the right gasket for their bikes especially the yamaha nmax 155cc.
i haven't tried this kitaco gasket for my yamaha nmax 155cc yet but I'm quite worried as from my measurement this kitaco gasket diameter (37.2mm) and thickness (5mm) are different from my previous measured gasket which is 35mm of its diameter and of 3.5mm thickness. as i can remember the 35mm diameter gasket fitted in just perfectly as the cylinder head exhaust port's size. and as it is a crushed gasket I'm more worried that after crushing the gasket in then the hole from the exhaust port and the exhaust header would be affected, if so then performance might be compromised. however after i dismantle the exhaust header then I'll be sure about everything. i just hope that i can use the kitaco gasket for my nmax as 'plug and play' type. Since the OEM Exhaust Gasket for parallel import cars is imported with the Exhaust System replacement, I used this product with the same part number as the replacement. No problem.View Detail
I bought it when I was replacing the exhaust system on my Aerox. Since it has the same engine as N-MAX, we chose this product to fit the N-MAX vehicle.
I don't know about the quality or continuity of the product, but I did notice that it was quite thick. The thickness itself is correct (the effect is achieved by crushing the Gasket), but I felt it was much thicker than the KSR-50.
I thought at the time of the KSR-50, but it is a single cylinder but the Gasket is Quantity:2pc. It's a bit strange that it's sold as a set. Normally, 1pc. would be fine.
By the way, the Engine side of the Aerox 155 was just size with the holes on the Engine side. The groove to attach the gasket to the exhaust system you purchased? I probably shouldn't have put it on for safety reasons, since there was no...View Detail

About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is a metal gasket that deforms when pressure is applied to seal between the cylinder head and the exhaust header pipe. About the feeling of use, Serves the same purpose as the Honda gasket, no noticeable difference.Seals well with no exhaust leaks present. Products to buy together, For you exhaust installation it would be ideal to add high temperature silicone to your cart to seal all the other exhaust pipe connections for a zero leak installation. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the exhaust system gasket for my installation is was very easy due to the ease of access to the exhaust stud nuts and simple nature of the task. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive a gasket to use and a spare made differently from the Honda gasket but serves the same purpose and are priced the same as the Honda gasket. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. I find the link supplied to track my order very useful and the order arrived within the estimated date range. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs.View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the exhaust system gasket from Kitaco. A compressing gasket with an external diameter of 32mm and an internal diameter of 26mm.About the feeling of use: The exhaust system gasket is a firm fit and holds itself in place once positioned and has sealed the interface between the exhaust port and the exhaust pipe with zero air leaks.Products to buy together: Some replacement exhaust stud nuts would also be desirable to purchase along side exhaust system gasket as mine were cosmetically damaged from using an open end spanner due to the thickness of the exhaust pipe and not being able to use a socket.Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about 30 minutes, loosen the exhaust stud nuts so you can lower the exhaust pipe to access the exhaust port to replace the exhaust system gasket. The old exhaust system gasket was very tight and difficult to remove on this motorcycle and required the use of a small flat screwdriver to lever it up from the bottom edge and I would recommend using something softer as the screwdriver slightly maked up the exhaust port surface. Refit the exhaust stud nuts and tighten to 27N.m.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting two quality gaskets from Kitaco that are always in stock and ready to ship but the genuine Honda gasket is slightly cheaper but you have to wait a while for stock to be available.About shipping and packaging: Sea freight was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Kitaco or K-Pit offer many replacement gaskets for the Monkey 125 that can be viewed in the Kitaco engine tuning and maintenance parts catalog and stock is available and ready to ship here on Webike.View Detail
before installing the kn planning power grip clutch my scooter yamaha nmax 155 suffered a bit loss in its top speed on speedo, i hardly achieved 115kmh where before i managed to clock 130+kmh easily on expressway. after installing this i managed to achieve extra few kilos around 124kmh i still can't understand what actually the root cause of my scooter performance down especially the top speed. one thing that i can tell is after installing this kn planning power grip clutch the revs is longer or i need to revs more before the scooter can start moving which i believed it is because the clutch springs might be harder than the stock clutch springs on the stock clutch. it is a good purchase for me replacing the stock clutch with the kn planning power grip clutch which is already 3 years, my first time change the clutch and i really think the performance is above the stock clutch. the best spark plug for me, performance wise...brisk aor12lgs is a silver tip plug for highly tuned or racing purpose machine, same as ar10zs of premium class, most comparable differences are in their designs and also the recommended interval change for lgs is 30000km compared to zs type 20000km. in this area they are less superior than iridium which can last for 60000km or more. but silver is 276% better in electricity and 177% more heating capacity than the iridium. also no tip gapping to worry about compared to other conventional spark plugs.just confirm the heat range of the spark plug as the yamaha nmax manufacturer's plug ngk is 8 heat range which is equivalent to 12 for the brisk. aor10lgs or ar10zs is colder plug. going for hotter or colder type might be bad for your engine if your tuning is not parallel in the direction.if you use this brisk premium type (for tuned/racing) in your standard engine maybe it alone can't do much without racing coil and cable, you may not feel any performance gain. but some dyno test by independent company proved that the plugs alone contributed 10 up to 15hp in a 450+bhp racing car if I'm not wrong (you can Google it for the testimony). as I'm very satisfied with this brisk spark plug I plan to continue using it in my tuned bikes. also the fuel consumption of my nmax is about 50.5km per liter cruising at 110kmh on expressway, tuned by apitech ecu. overall I'm happy with this brisk premium spark plug. it has been 1 week after i changed to the kn planning belt, my bike mileage is already 15000km even though manufacturer recommends an interval of 18000km for a change, and since it's almost 2.5 years i think why not i try this made in japan belt. As in the picture attached is the stock belt i believed made in Indonesia it looks still in good form even though for about 15k mileage i always WOT to my workplace 110-120kmh at speedo. for the kn planning belt i just hope for a miracle to see in performance wise but it works almost no difference compared to the stock belt. acceleration and top speed are almost the same. since it's a reinforced belt i just hope for the next 15k or 18k mileage this belt will be in better form than the stock. for the kn planning, in the future i wish i can see more details information regarding parts advertised, especially about performance improvement after changing to the kn planning's parts. some other companies claim their belt can last to 36000km (double the manufacturer's recommendation) or their belt can improve the top speed etcetera. and for this time, I'm quite satisfied purchasing the kn planning reinforced belt even though i feel like it works just as the stock belt, at least it doesn't lack anywhere else. for someone looking for a replacement belt especially for yamaha nmax 155cc, this kn planning reinforced belt series is highly recommended for its value vs price. it is a pretty leather key ring, I'm not sure it's made of authentic leather or not but i hope it can last beautifully as my current leather key ring i made from my timberland leather belt extras... i plan to use it with my son's R15 key when it arrives later on, as present...i am natively fond of leather-made stuff, my another bike also use a leather key ring but i can't present it in the picture since the bike is still in garage for some upgrades...really happy with the purchase. from my point of view the Daytona oring is of good quality but I'm not sure what material it is made from. i attached a picture of the Daytona oring vs the china made top quality oring (green color) of viton material and viton is one of the best material besides ptfe. however for my motorbike scooter yamaha nmax 2016 standard engine I'm not sure what is its problem but oil keeps leaking out even though in a very little amount even with the viton gasket (stock gasket was worse) until i applied silicone paste around the filler cap. i hope this Daytona oring will do a much better job.for information the Daytona oring thickness is 2.5mm and the current viton oring is about the stock oring of 1.5mm thickness.
