Installation is an easy, all mounting hardware is included. It should remove the white plastic covers on the bike, that come with the under guard. A high quality under guard is requested for every off road bike. It protect the bottom of the engine and frame.

Although I did not do a dirt run etc. yet but was an on-road chisel, since the fine wound etc. were contained in the under guard, when I was also at the time of an on-road chisel, I thought that the engine was protected from the crack.
