I used it as a master cylinder band, to cover up the cap paint peeling due to brake fluid on the OEMMASTER and as an insurance policy against brake fluid seepage on my old Motorcycle. Hmmm! I think it looks very cool because it is the part that you can see. I am self-satisfied.

I use it on my Fluid Tank, which is a standard for Kawasaki riders.
In addition to protecting the brake fluid from degradation from sunlight, I think this will help in the unlikely event of a fluid leak.
If the rubber starts to stretch after 2 years of use, it's time to replace it.
