The standard speedometer position on the XSR700 requires you to dip your head down to read it which is dangerous because your eyes will not be on the road. This product moves the speedometer in front of the ignition and above the headlight. You can now read the speedometer by moving your eyes only. It would be better if the speedometer was a slight bit higher, but if you move it any higher, it would not look as good cosmetically. The hardware is sturdy and installation was easy, only taking about 15 minutes.

it fits very easily, even with my dart flyscreen. very simple with just one main part! also included are two bolts, and some rubber sleeves for the bolts so the bracket can grab on better and not damage the threadthe position is much, much better than stock, no longer need to move my head to check my speedthe pipe construction and matte black matches the OEM style very nicely!!this is how the bike should come from the factory

Quick delivery to Brisbane, Australia.Very easy to fit, instructions were in Japanese but it was intuitive enough to install.I like how the final product sits forward and slightly lower so that the speedo is just in your line of sight.

It is nice to combine with OEMBikini cowl
I use it in conjunction with OEMBikini cowl. I was able to install it without any problems and Meter became easy to see while driving. Handlebar also clears around, making it easier to insert and remove the key.
With Meter Bracket, Meter just comes to the top of Headlight. It is okay for Meter to hide when there is OEMBikini cowl, but without Cowl it may look bad.
In addition, when installing the Rubber part about the original Meter Bracket (Grommet) Although I remove, I had a hard time not to figure out how to remove it first. It broke off as I folded the edge into the center of the hole.
